Searching for friendship activities that build social skills in the area of making friends and keeping friends? These are the perfect lessons to teach students about positive friendship traits and friendship qualities. Includes a digital version for use with Google Slides.

This activity takes about 30 minutes to complete with a small or large group. The goal is for students to recognize positive traits in a person that would make them a good friend to have.

• Version 1 Print and Go: Build a Friend with friendship traits already attached, students write in the friendship traits right on the handout.
• Version 2 Cut and Paste: Build a Friend with separate friendship traits to cut out and glue to their friend. (makes for a great Bulletin Board!)
• Version 3 Write-in: Build a Friend with completed and blank version for students to write in the qualities around the friend.
• 4 reflection questions about friendship qualities.

This product is meant to be used in edit mode (not presentation mode). Edit mode is the only mode that allows drag & drop and writing in text boxes.
