Social Skills Game - Printable & Digital SEL activity

Description

A game to help students practice making good social choices, interactions, and use social skills strategies. Social-emotional learning activity for students who struggle to make and keep friends. Includes a digital version for use with Google Slides and Google Classroom for digital learning.

This activity takes about 30 minutes to complete with a small or large group. The goal is for students to discuss ways to make and keep friends, identify prosocial behavior and words, and self reflect.

Includes:

• Activity description including instructions/walk-through of activity, objectives, materials, guiding questions, SEL competencies, and ASCA standards.
• 1 page of the board game
• 1 page of game pieces (dice, player pieces, score tracker)
• 3 pages of game card questions
• Black and white versions included.

▶️What formats are included?

• Pdf version to print out.
• Google Slides version.

▶️What mode should I use this in google slides?

This product is meant to be used in edit mode (not presentation mode). Edit mode is the only mode that allows the drag & drop interactive feature.

▶️How many players in the game?

The board game (pdf) version is meant for a small group of kids (about six).

The digital game (google) version is for one student to play online. The student goes through the game board answering social skills related questions as they go. The teacher assigns each student their own copy to play.
