Explosive or Peaceful Thinking - Activities for Anger Management

Description

Students will differentiate between explosive or peaceful ways of thinking. They will learn how to change their thoughts by looking for a compromise, thinking rationally, looking for the positive, and being accountable for their own behavior. Includes a digital learning version for Google Classroom Distance Learning. Great for students who are struggling with angry feelings.

This activity takes about 30 minutes to complete with a small or large group. The goal is for students to identify explosive versus peaceful ways of thinking to be able to change their own thinking and prevent future conflicts. Great for social and emotional learning!

• Activity description including instructions/walk through of activity, objectives, materials, and ASCA standards.
