Behavior Toolbox: A cheat sheet on behavior problems

Has this ever happened to you??? I am sitting in an RTI meeting and the teacher and team are looking at me (and each other) and are stumped with what interventions to suggest....Its not that you don't have plenty of interventions in your brain, but when you are on the spot its hard to come up with a multitude of interventions for the team. Most of the time, I think of ideas AFTER the meeting.

Finally getting tired of this happening I asked myself, why don't I have a quick resource guide on common behavior problems that I can refer to during meetings or when a teacher stops by my office? Not a stuffy textbook with unpractical advice, I mean a real down to earth and easy to read guide on interventions for the classroom that I will actually use!

So, I created the Behavior Toolbox, which is where I reach in for my intervention tools when I get a brain freeze. It has 3 easy steps, 1st is what the behavior looks like, 2nd is what to do about the behavior and the 3rd is what NOT to do. Saves me every time, I hope it helps you as well.
