Build a Friend activity

Description

Searching for friendship activities that build social skills in the area of making friends and keeping friends? This is the perfect lesson to teach students about positive friendship traits and friendship qualities. Includes a digital version for use with Google Slides.

This activity takes about 30 minutes to complete with a small or large group. The goal is for students to recognize positive traits in a person that would make them a good friend to have.

Includes:

►Activity description including instructions/walk-through of activity, objectives, materials, guiding questions, SEL competencies, and ASCA standards.

►Build a Friend completed child to use as a reference (in color & black and white)

►Build a Friend Girl (in black and white-students can color it!))

►Build a Friend Boy (in black and white-students can color it!)

►Now includes Google Classroom version, the link to access this resource on Google Slides and instructions for use is on page 7.

▶️What mode should I use this in google slides?

This product is meant to be used in "edit" mode (not "presentation" mode). Edit mode is the only mode that allows drag & drop and writing in text boxes.
